About us
n
Bounce Therapy Services is a busy muti-disciplinary practice on the Far south coast of NSW. Bounce provides both paediatric and adult services and is proud to support our community with both private and NDIS services available.
n
Bounce has a comprehensive team, including Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Psychotherapy and Play therapists as well as qualified and experienced allied health assistants.
n
About the Role
n
Physiotherapy covers a wide spectrum of health issues. Our company works with children and Adults from different walks of life who have various conditions, injuries and/or developmental concerns.
n
Our key areas of practice include:
n
n
Developmental movement skills assessment and assistance
n
gross motor development and participation within school, sports or community
n
treatment of painful joints
n
specific conditions such as neurological, neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders
n
monitoring hip development along with other joints in the body
n
facilitation of airway clearance and breathing control for conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis, and
n
assessment and treatment of dizziness and balance problems
n
n
As a physiotherapist for Bounce Therapy Services, your role will involve:
n
n
Assessing and providing holistic rehabilitative interventions for patients;
n
Designing treatment programs to address patient problems;
n
Treating patients to reduce pain,
improve circulation, strengthen muscles, improve cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and respiratory functions, restore joint mobility, and improve balance and coordination;
n
Reviewing, continually monitoring, assessing and evaluating programs and treatments
n
Consulting with other Health Professionals as required about patients' problems, needs and progress;
n
Recording treatments given and patients' responses and progress.
n
n
Our ideal team member will have:
n
n
Adegree in Physiotherapy with current registration with the relevant Board of Australia;
n
At least 12 months work experience as a physiotherapist;
n
Experience with patients with neurological impairments such as cerebral palsy or disabilities such as spinal cord injury is desirable;
n
