Job Description
Bathurst Health Service is seeking Locum FACEMs and Emergency Medicine Registrars to assist with upcoming Emergency Department roster gaps.

There are a range of day, evening and night shifts available, including FACEM in-charge, non-in-charge and Registrar shifts. This is a great opportunity for doctors seeking flexible ED locum work across August, September, October and early November.

Clinical Environment:

Emergency Department role at Bathurst Health Service

FACEM and Registrar shifts available
n
Day, mid, evening and night shifts available
n
In-charge and non-in-charge options depending on role and roster
n
Supportive regional hospital environment with escalation pathways available
n
n
Key Duties:
n
n
Assess and manage Emergency Department presentations
n
Support patient flow and clinical decision‐making
n
Provide in‐charge or non‐in‐charge cover as rostered
n
Complete documentation and handover
n
Escalate care appropriately when required
n
Work collaboratively with the ED team and wider hospital staff
n
n
Eligibility Criteria:
n
n
Current AHPRA Registration
n
FACEM or recent Emergency Medicine Registrar experience
n




Current ALS Certificate
n
Verified NSW Working with Children Check
n
Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
n
Ability to work safely within scope and escape appropriately
n
Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
n
