The Trustee for the Loaf Unit Trust – Cronulla NSW

LOAF Sandwiches is a much-loved local cafe and catering business in Cronulla, and we're looking for an experienced, hands- on Shop Manager to lead our team and run the show.
n
This isn't a desk job. You'll be on the floor every day, running service, leading a great crew, and making sure every customer gets that LOAF experience: quality food, warm service, and a shop that runs like clockwork.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Leading opening and closing, from front-of-house checks through to end-of-day banking
n
Running the floor through our busy morning and lunch periods, keeping service smooth and standards high
n
Building the roster and managing labour hours against budget
n
Being the first point of contact for your team, with a weekly 1:1 catch-up built in
n
Owning stock, supplier orders, and wastage tracking
n
Handling customer feedback and keeping our online reputation solid
n
n
What you'll bring
n
n
Previous experience (minimum 2 years) running a café, QSR, or similar hospitality team, ideally in a leadership role




n
Strong food safety knowledge and real hands- on kitchen/floor skills- you will be required to jump into the sandwich bar at times so if you aren't up for that please don't apply.

Confidence with POS and rostering systems (we use Square)
n
A calm, clear communicator who can lead under pressure
n
Comfortable working with KPIs, with performance bonuses tied to results
n

Competitive salary of $80,000 – $85,000 + super, with performance bonuses on offer.We would consider a higher salary base if the experience warranted it.
