About the Role
n
The Program Manager - Families is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, providing operational oversight and supervision across the Yeaca Dhargo Indigenous Family Wellbeing, Numula Domestic & Family Violence Safety Response, HIPPY Early Education, and Counselling Intervention Support Service programs. Reporting to the Senior Quality Service Support Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, culturally protected service delivery, compliance with funding agreements, and the leadership and development of team leaders, coordinators, and frontline staff.

Key Duties
n
n
Lead and supervise Team Leaders, Coordinators, Family Wellbeing Practitioners and Community Support Workers
n
Oversee end-to-end program delivery in line with service agreements,a Family focused Child Centred framework and strength based approach, HSQF, ISO****, Child Safeguarding Principles and relevant legislation
n
Manage case allocation, risk assessment,
and quality control across family wellbeing and DFV programs
n
Monitor program budgets and financial expenditure in conjunction with the CEO
n
Drive continuous improvement across quality systems, policies, and reporting
n
Build and maintain partnerships with government, NGOs, Elders, and community
n
Contribute to funding applications, strategic planning, and business development
n
Ensure workplace health, safety, and cultural safety standards are upheld
n
n
n
Demonstrated experience managing funded community services programs including budget oversight
n
Extensive experience in safety and risk assessment, family support, and DFV intervention
n
Strong understanding of child protection legislation and frameworks in Queensland
n
Proven staff management and professional supervision skills
n
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities
n
High-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, Youth Work, or a related field
n
Current QLD Driver's Licence
n
First Aid and CPR
n
Must possess a current Blue Card
n
Disability Worker Screening Card (or ability to obtain)
