We are currently seeking experienced Welders to join our manufacturing team at ourTruganina, VICfacility.
n
This is a outstanding opportunity for skilled Welders looking for stable, full-time employment within an established Australian manufacturing business.

About the Role
n
As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabrication activities associated with the manufacture and assembly of heavy transport equipment and components.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Perform MIG welding and fabrication to required specifications.
n
Weld and assemble steel components used in heavy transport equipment.
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
n
Prepare materials and components for welding and assembly.
n
Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
n
Use welding equipment, hand tools and workshop machinery safely.
n
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and productivity.
n
Follow all workplace health, safety and Company procedures.
n
Work collaboratively with production team members to meet manufacturing requirements.
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role,



you will ideally have:
n
n
Previous experience working as a Welder in a manufacturing, fabrication or similar environment.
n
Demonstrated MIG welding experience.
n
Experience working with steel fabrication and welded assemblies.
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
n
Ability to safely operate welding equipment and relevant workshop tools.
n
Good communication and teamwork skills.
n
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
Relevant welding, fabrication or trade qualifications are highly regarded.
n
