South Eastern Private Hospital Rehabilitation is growing and we are seeking a Grade 1or 2 Occupational Therapist to complement our already dedicated and experienced team. New graduates or experienced Grade 1's looking to work as part of a hospital multidisciplinary team are welcome to apply.

The successful applicant will have prospect to rotate between orthopaedic, neuro, reconditioning, pulmonary, cardiac multi-trauma and Geriatric and Day Rehabilitation (outpatient services) programs.

Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
n
Current Victorian Driver's License
n
Current Victorian Police check within 3 months
n
Demonstrated
knowledge/experience
with functional assessments
n
Demonstrated knowledge in equipment prescription and home modifications
n
Demonstrated proficiency in running group-based therapy
n




Highly motivated, accountable and enthusiastic
n
Contemporary knowledge of best practice in occupational therapy provision
n
Passionate about patient-centred care and achieving quality clinical outcomes
n
Committed to professional and team development, ability to engage all members of the multidisciplinary team
n
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
n
Must be available to cover weekday shifts
n
Experience with rehabilitation of patients
n
Demonstrated experience with Quality Improvement projects
n
Previous experience in a Private Hospital setting
n
Computer proficient
n
An understanding of cultural diversity
n
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
n
