Key Responsibilities
n
n
Managing and supervising the daily operations of the PMK store Yarrawonga, ensuring efficient store operations, high customer service standards, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
n
Overseeing stock control, including ordering liquor, groceries, and other goods, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels. Ensuring the store is well-stocked to meet customer demand, while avoiding overstocking or understocking.
n
Setting and monitoring sales targets, developing strategies to achieve targets, and tracking store performance to maximize revenue.
n
Managing store staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management. Ensuring all team members are trained in customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures.
n
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, and liquor licensing laws, including proper handling and storage of liquor, ensuring a safe working environment, and adherence to food safety standards.
n
Developing and implementing store policies and procedures, including purchasing, pricing, and marketing strategies that align with the standards and objectives.
n
Formulating and setting prices for goods and services, ensuring competitive pricing within the market while maintaining profit margins and offering value to customers.
n
Promoting and advertising the store's products and services, including planning and executing in-store promotions, marketing campaigns,



and working with the PMK network to promote store events and product offerings.
n
Selling goods and services to customers, providing expert advice on product selection, usage, and recommendations to enhance the customer experience and boost sales.
n
Maintaining accurate financial records, including overseeing store budgets, cash flow management, and ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded and reported.
n
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities, analyzing shifts in the retail market and customer preferences, and adjusting stock, pricing, and promotional strategies accordingly to stay competitive.
n
Determining product mix, stock levels, and service standards to ensure a diverse and appealing range of products that meet customer needs and align with local preferences. Ensuring the store offers a balanced mix of liquor and other in-demand products.

Requirements
n
n
Proven experience of at least 2 years in retail management.
n
Strong leadership and team management skills.
n
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
n
Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising principles.
n
Familiarity with health, safety, and compliance regulations in retail operations.
n
Proficiency in basic financial and operational reporting.
n
