Further expansion within their business sees them seeking an experienced Fitter to service, diagnose, repair and overhaulhydraulic systems for the likes of excavators, mobile cranes, hydraulic cylinders and vehicleconversions including hi-rail equipment.
n
Specifically your role includes fault-finding, cylinder rebuilds, and
construction/builds
of vehicle conversions to rail-
capablespecifications
- workshop and site based. Your role may extend to shift work at times being emergency call-outs and extended hours during builds or breakdowns.

Essential requirements for the role include:
n
n
Trade qualification or equivalent in hydraulics, mechanical fitting, heavy dieselfitting or similar.
n
Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience servicing and repairing excavators, mobile cranes and hydraulic cylinders.
n
Proven experience rebuilding hydraulic cylinders and working with hydraulicpumps, valves and motors.
n
A current Driver License
n
A willingness to travel to job sites and work in the field as necessary
n
Physically fit with the capacity to lift heavy components and work in confined spaces
n
Forklift, crane tickets and rail industry certifications
n
MIGand TIG welding experience
n
n

Permanent fulltime prospect

$45-$55 per hour pending level of experience + super + penalties
