Catering Assistant - Hospital Based - Permanent Full Time

An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Catering Assistant to join our Hospitality team on a permanent basis, providing efficient and effective food services within a patient-centred care environment as part of our Catering team at Lakeview Private Hospital.

Key responsibilities
n
Provide productive and effective food services within a patient-centred care environment as part of our Catering team
n
Perform a range of duties, including basic food preparation, setting up and delivering patient food trays, and serving hot and cold beverages
n
Assist with maintaining clean and hygienic work areas, including dishwashing and general cleaning duties
n
Follow all prescribed food safety protocols, including the safe storage, preparation and service of food
n
Complete all required food safety documentation and promptly report any issues or concerns to management
n
About you
n
Candidates must be available to work on a rotating roster, including weekend work
n
Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in a catering role, with experience in Hospital or Aged Care highly regarded
n
Food preparation and handling experience
n




Competent in hospitality and customer service
n
Can work unsupervised at times as well as be part of a team
n
Permanent residency or visas 189, 186, 190, 892, or 893
n
