Job Description
The Food Services Assistant (FSA) is accountable for the preparation and delivery of a quality food and beverage service, compliance with the food safety program and environmental cleanliness and waste control service in residential aged care

SELECTION CRITERIA
n
n
Must be able to work all shifts, weekly, morning, afternoon and weekends including public holidays
n
Relevant experience in similar role in a health care setting
n
Computer skills at a basic level
n
Understanding of confidentiality
n
Satisfactory National History Criminal Check prior to commencement of employment
n
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
n
Ability to work with a wide variety of people
n




Self-motivated with a high level of communication and organisational skills demonstrated ability to work alone
n
n
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work as part of a resident/patient focused team
n
Provide excellent customer service at all times
n
Follow daily duties list - as per Rostered Shift requirements.
n
Ensure full compliance with all regulations relating to food/catering services
n
Perform duties as established by job duties specific to areas or as directed by person in charge
