Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis & BTP Architect to design, govern, automate, and modernize enterprise SAP landscapes across SAP RISE and SAP BTP environments. The role requires solid hands-on expertise in SAP Basis, BTP architecture, cloud security, infrastructure automation, identity management, and SAP Cloud ALM, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and define enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design and govern SAP BTP architecture, platform services, security, provisioning, and operational standards across multiple landscapes.
n
Lead SAP Basis and SAP RISE landscape architecture, administration, modernization, and operational governance.
n
Develop Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and reusable automation frameworks for consistent BTP provisioning across Dev, Test, QA, and Production.
n
Drive CI/CD, GitHub Enterprise, DevOps, and platform automation to reduce manual effort, configuration drift, and deployment risks.
n
Architect SAP BTP identity and security, including IAS/IPS, Trust Configuration, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), identity federation, authentication, and authorization.
n
Design and govern SAP BTP Credential Store, including secrets, certificates, service keys, credential lifecycle management, and automated rotation.
n
Lead SAP Cloud ALM implementation and optimization covering Implementation, Transformation, and Service Operations.
n




Establish GitHub-based governance for BTP configurations, Terraform code, CIS definitions, IPS JSON transformations, and operational documentation.
n
Define architecture standards, governance frameworks, release controls, security compliance, and operational best practices.
n
Drive Proof of Concepts, automation initiatives, continuous improvement, and platform reliability across enterprise SAP environments.
n
Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, stakeholder management, mentoring, and technology roadmap development.

Required Skills

SAP: SAP Basis, SAP BTP, SAP RISE, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP IAS, SAP IPS, SAP Identity Authentication and Provisioning Services.
n
Cloud & Automation: Terraform, IaC, CI/CD, GitHub Enterprise, DevOps, platform automation, configuration management.
n
Security: OIDC, SAML, identity federation, credential/secrets management, cloud security architecture,
authentication/authorization,
security governance and compliance.
n
Architecture & Leadership:
Enterprise/Solution
Architecture, SAP landscape design, governance and standards, technical leadership, stakeholder management, architecture reviews, mentoring, and roadmap planning.
n
Preferred: SAP Technology Professional/BTP Solution Architect certifications, SAP Cloud ALM or Terraform certification, SAP RISE transformation experience, and experience managing large-scale enterprise SAP landscapes.
