Job Description
As a Coating Production Operator in the pharmaceutical industry, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of manufacturing equipment. This is a critical role in supporting the production of high-quality pharmaceuticals products ensuring tablets are coated and finished to a high standard. Essential to success in this role is adherence with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.

Key responsibilities

Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with SOPs, and GMP requirements
n
Accurately complete batch documentation to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
n
Set up, dismantle, clean, and reassemble machinery and equipment as required for production and changeovers
n
Conduct in-process quality checks and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformances promptly
n
Maintain strict compliance with GMP, safety, hygiene, and cleanroom requirements at all times
n
Work effectively within a team workplace and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues
n




Undertake any other duties as required to support the team and business operations

About you
n
n
Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, FMCG or regulated production environments (essential)
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality (essential)
n
Experience in Production Coating within the pharmaceutical industry (highly desirable)
n
Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and GMP requirements
n
Basic computer skills, including the ability to complete electronic batch records
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n
Good communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
n
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
n

Remuneration
n
Remuneration is equivalent to $66,000 to $90,000pa, depending on previous, relevant experience and allocated shift pattern. 5 weeks per year annual leave
