Forklift/Counterbalance
operator – Warehouse allrounder (AM± shift)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experiencedHigh Reach Forklift / Counterbalance Operatorswith a solid background in general warehouse pick and pack operations to join our team at ourAltona facility.
n
We havemultiple positions availableacross both shifts:
n
Full-Time – Day Shift
n
Casual – Afternoon Shift (with potential to review ongoing business requirements)
n
These opportunities are long term, offering stability and an immediate start for suitable candidates.

Skills & Experience
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience operating High Reach Forklifts (Double Deep Racking essential)
n
Demonstrated experience operating Counterbalance Forklifts
n
Experience using RF scanners for picking and put-away operations
n
Strong forklift operating capability with the ability to maneuver goods safely and efficiently
n
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting, bending, standing and manual handling
n
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong safety-first mindset
n
Reliable, proactive and team-oriented attitude
n
Previous experience handling food grade products (e.g. dairy) is highly advantageous
n
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n

Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when required

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Picking and put-away of stock using RF scanning within Double Deep racking and bulk storage areas
n
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and shipping containers
n
Hand unloading of containers
n
Restacking pallets as required
n
Preparing and staging customer orders accurately and efficiently
n
Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork with a high degree of accuracy
n
Conducting product and inventory quality checks
n
Reporting stock discrepancies, damage or safety concerns
n
General warehouse duties including pick, pack and product assembly
n
Maintaining housekeeping and cleanliness within warehouse areas
n
Complying with all Company OHS policies, procedures and safety requirements
n
Communicating effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, depot management and external stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient operations
n
