We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Buildings Civil team in Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career engineer to work alongside experienced specialists and contribute to a diverse range of projects across the health, education, defence, civic, commercial and community sectors.
n
How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?
n
n
Assist in the delivery of civil engineering designs for building and infrastructure projects, including site development, drainage, pavements and access design.
n
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications under the guidance of senior team members.
n
Contribute to the coordination of civil design outputs with structural, mechanical, electrical and architectural disciplines.
n
Support project teams in identifying and resolving design challenges.
n
Apply relevant standards, guidelines and engineering principles to produce quality outcomes.
n
Participate in project meetings and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
n
Contribute to achieving project delivery, quality and safety objectives.
n
Continue to develop technical skills through mentoring, training and on-the-job learning opportunities.
n

What we're looking for:
n
n
Approximately 2-5 years' experience in civil engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
n
Exposure to civil design for buildings, land development, precincts or infrastructure projects.
n
Experience using civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD or similar will be highly advantageous
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
n
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
n
Defence or defence-adjacent project experience is advantageous but not essential.
n
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
n
Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
n
Progressing towards Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
n
