This position is suited to drivers who are willing to work away from home. A typical roster may involve working in Jindabyne or other locations for 3–5 consecutive days, returning home between rosters, then heading away again as operational requirements dictate.

Cooma Coaches is a long-established and respected coach operator providing passenger transport services throughout the Snowy Mountains, Monaro, Hunter Region and across Current South Wales.
n
We're currently looking for professional Coach Drivers who enjoy travelling, take pride in customer service and are willing to work away from home on multi‐day coach operations.
n
Our operations include school services, charter operations, special events, multi‐day charters and seasonal snow transport, offering a balance of regular scheduled work and varied driving opportunities throughout the year.
n
Experienced coach drivers are highly regarded; however, we also welcome applications from experienced heavy vehicle drivers looking to transition into the passenger transport industry.

The Role
n
Our work offers a great mix of driving opportunities. While some services, such as snow shuttles and contracted services, follow regular schedules, you'll also have opportunities to undertake:

School services.
n
School excursions.
n
Charter services.
n
Corporate transfers.
n
Special event transport.
n
Multi‐day charters.
n
Seasonal snow operations.
n
n
As part of the role, drivers may be required to:

n
Work early morning, afternoon or evening shifts.
n




Work weekends and public holidays as rostered.
n
Stay away from home on overnight or multi‐day charter work.
n
Travel throughout Sydney, the Hunter Region, the Snowy Mountains and other areas of New South Wales.
n
Work across different types of passenger transport services throughout the year.
n

Essential Requirements
n
n
Current MR, HR or HC Driver Licence.
n
NSW Driver Authority, or willingness to obtain.
n
Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
n
Ability to successfully complete a pre‐employment medical assessment.
n
Ability to participate in Drug and Alcohol testing in accordance with company policy.
n
Satisfactory driving history.
n
Strong customer service and communication skills.
n
Professional presentation.
n

Pay & Benefits
n
We recognise and reward professional drivers with competitive hourly rates overtime opportunities, meal allowances and ongoing professional development.
n
Current hourly rates range from approximately $38 to over $81 per hour, depending on employment status, penalties and hours worked, plus applicable allowances.
