About the role
n
Our client is a specialist boutique employment law practice in Sydney CBD acting exclusively for employees, executives and individuals. With a sole principal at the helm and a reputation for high-quality applicant-side work, this is a practice built around outcomes for the people who need them most.
n This role is well suited to an Employment Lawyer who wants substance over structure, direct client contact from the outset, and a genuine commitment to developing their skills with a principal who is invested in their growth.

The position
n
n
Advise employees and executives on unfair dismissal, general protections, adverse action,



anti-discrimination and contractual disputes
n
Draft correspondence, submissions and documents for Fair Work Commission and Federal Court proceedings
n
Assist with anti-discrimination matters and workplace investigations
n
Review and advise on employment contracts, restraint clauses and redundancy entitlements
n
Appear in conferences and directions hearings as your experience develops
n
Build direct client relationships with individuals navigating complex and often difficult career situations
n
n
Requirements
n
n
1-3 years PAE, ideally with some employment law exposure
n
Genuine interest in applicant-side employment law and a long-term commitment to the area
n
Solid drafting ability and clear written communication
n
NSW practising certificate in good standing
n
Applicant-side experience preferred but not essential -- the right mindset and interest will count
n
Ambition to build a practice, not just fill a role
n
