Reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, the Storeperson will join our Parts Distribution Centre on a Full-time basis at our Guildford location. This role involves cutting, building and quality checking hydraulic hoses for Caterpillar equipment.

Parts Distribution Centre (PDC)
n
Our 24/7 PDC holds 75K Cat product lines, shipping 300K lines/month. We use the DEMATIC system for 18K+ small parts, and provide rack and yard storage, hose-building, parts inspection, pick-packing, and customer pickups with multiple WMS for accurate deliveries
n
Roster:
n
Monday to Friday, 3pm to 12am, 9 hours (including unpaid meal break) Every 4th Friday rostered off
n
What You'll Do:
n
n
Cutting of hydraulic hoses
n
Pushing couplings onto cut hose lengths, and building of hydraulic hose
n
Use and maintaining of hydraulic presses and crimping machines
n
Capping and tagging hoses for dispatch
n
n
Skills & Experience:
n
n
Good manual handling techniques
n
Ability to work in a team and autonomously with effective communication skills
n
Computer literacy – including MS Suite
n
Positive attitude with outstanding attention to detail
n
Warehousing experience (desired)
