$100,000 – $125,000 salary package + Super

Based within a private hospital, working alongside orthopaedic surgeons and their surgical teams

Key responsibilities
n
n
Assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand conditions
n
Fracture management, splinting and casting
n
Post-surgical rehabilitation, working directly with referring orthopaedic surgeons and their teams
n
Sports injury management and return-to-play programming
n
Delivery of dry needling and clinical Pilates as part of treatment plans
n
Management of work-related and compensable claims, including liaison with relevant stakeholders
n
Ongoing case documentation and progress reporting
n
n
Key requirements
n
n
Minimum 3 years' clinical experience as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
n
Strong musculoskeletal background essential
n
Upper limb and/or hand therapy experience highly desirable, though not essential — mentoring is available for the right candidate looking to build into this specialty
n
Current AHPRA registration (Physiotherapy) or qualification and registration as an occupational therapist
n
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
n
A collaborative, patient-centred approach to care
n
Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with surgeons, referrers and allied health colleagues
n
