About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Clinician to provide high-quality mental health and wellbeing services to veterans and their families. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based assessments, counselling, case management, and therapeutic interventions, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective and coordinated care.
n
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through the delivery of professional clinical services, participation in community programs, and contribution to continuous improvement initiatives that support client wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities Include
n
n
Provide evidence-based assessments, risk assessments, counselling, and case management services to clients.
n
Develop and maintain care plans, clinical records, and confidential case documentation.
n
Monitor client progress and reviewing treatment outcomes to identify ongoing support needs.
n
Liaise with families, treatment providers, and stakeholders to coordinate care and achieve positive outcomes.
n
Participate in case reviews, clinical supervision, and multidisciplinary discussions to manage complex cases.
n
Facilitate or co-facilitate group programs and psychoeducation activities.
n
Contribute to community engagement, service promotion, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
n
Support intake, assessment, and allocation processes to ensure clients receive appropriate services.
n
Maintain qualified registration, continuing professional development, and adherence to ethical and legislative requirements.

Strong clinical assessment, counselling, and case management experience.
n
Ability to build rapport and establish effective therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with clients and stakeholders.

Sound judgement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills when managing complex client matters.
n
High level of emotional intelligence, resilience, and professionalism.
n
Commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical decision-making, and client-centred care.
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.

Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Mandatory Requirements
n
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain:
n
n
A Working with Vulnerable People registration or Working with Children Check.
n
A Baseline Security Clearance.
n
Australian Citizenship.
n
n
In addition, applicants must hold one of the following:
n
n
Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse; or
n
Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); or
n
A Master's-level Counselling qualification with relevant professional registration.
n
n
