Nurse Next Door is a certifiedGreat Place to Work. We are looking to build our care team with a variety of experienced carers who are able to work from a minimum of 20 hours per week.

We are specifically seeking caregivers for active overnight shifts and sleepovers in the following regions:

Redland Bay
n
Coomera
n
Please only apply if you are available for night-time hours (9pm - 7.00am / 6pm to 6.30am / 8pm to 9.00am) and willing to travel to some or all the above locations.

About the Role
n
Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
n
We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs. Ability to work nights is a must!

Responsibilities
n




Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
n
Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
n
Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
n
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
n
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
n
Work with a supportive and dynamic team
n
Ongoing training
n
Opportunity to broaden scope of practice through working in a Supported Independent Living House with 24/7 shifts available

n

A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for their own behaviour & success.

Coachable
n
Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
n
Manual Handling experience is highly regarded
n
Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset!
n
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Ambassadors when needed.
n
Reliable way to get to and from the client's homes.
n
Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset
n
Mandatory Requirements
n
Ability to work nights is a MUST
n
Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or industry experience is highly regarded
n
National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
n
Working With Children Check- Blue Card
n
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
n
NDIS Worker Screener Clearance - Yellow Card
