#AAA Inner South Canberra team is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner with current suitability at Core, Proficient, or Advanced level. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, take ownership of your work, and continue building your capability in a supportive environment.

In this role you will:
n
n
Supporting NDIS participants, along with their families and carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
n
Owning the assessment, development and delivery of evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment
n
Driving meaningful goals and measurable outcomes, using a positive behaviour support framework and a commitment to eliminating restrictive practices
n
Ensuring plans reflect each participant's goals, strengths and what matters most to them
n
Building the capability, confidence and understanding of those supporting participants in their day-to-day lives
n
Working collaboratively within a cohesive multidisciplinary team environment
n
n
Qualifications
n
To be successful in this role you will have:
n
n
Evidence of suitability at Core, Proficient, or Advanced level with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission
n
Experience in report writing, solid organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
n
A proactive, self-motivated approach, with a drive to improve outcomes and test new ideas
n
A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
n
