As a Child Safety Support Officer, you will:
n
n
Ensure that service delivery is consistent with departmental policies and procedures, departmental objectives and current trends.
n
Provide culturally appropriate prevention, early intervention, and family support strategies to children and families including referral, provision of information, advocacy and consultation.
n
Consult with relevant stakeholders and negotiate with service providers to design, implement and maintain appropriate casework and individualised service plans that link clients to the services and supports they require.
n
Provide administrative support to frontline staff including
liaising/communicating
with relevant stakeholders and service providers to implement and maintain appropriate casework and individualised service plans to achieve positive outcomes.
n
Liaise and develop links with relevant stakeholders including families, community agencies and relevant government departments.
n
Participate effectively as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.
n




Develop and maintain knowledge relevant to the role, and actively participate in appropriate learning and development processes.
n
Prepare reports and maintain accessible and transparent case records consistent with departmental case management requirements.
n
Use, update and monitor relevant databases to maintain accessible and clear case records consistent with departmental case management requirements
n
Enhance the local regional community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.

Your mandatory requirements

Possession of or able to obtain a blue card administered by the Queensland Public Safety Business Agency
n
Travel is a requirement of this position, therefore, it is a requirement that the applicant hold a current "C" Class Drivers licence.
n
n
