Norquip Hire is looking a hardworking motivated, reliable and customer-focused Administration Assistant / Trainee Hire Controller to join our team.
n
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the equipment hire industry. You'll receive on-the-job training while supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch, gaining experience in administration, customer service, equipment hire and branch operations.
n
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll develop the skills and knowledge required to progress into a Hire Controller role.
n
Typical hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
n
n
Provide exceptional customer service to customers, suppliers and visitors, both in person, over the phone and via email.
n
Answer incoming calls, respond to enquiries and direct calls or take accurate messages.
n
Generate hire quotations, provide equipment pricing and availability, and process hire bookings.
n
Support the Hire Team with daily administrative and operational tasks.
n
Enter and maintain accurate information within hire and accounts systems.
n
Assist with customer account enquiries and debt collection activities.
n
Coordinate equipment deliveries and collections.
n
Work closely with workshop staff and mechanics to ensure equipment availability and readiness.
n
Learn about our extensive range of hire equipment,
from small hand tools through to larger construction and earthmoving equipment.
n
Assist customers with the collection and return of hire equipment.
n
Safely assist with loading and unloading equipment.
n
Complete pre-hire and post-hire inspections, including photographing equipment.
n
Assist with cleaning, washing and preparing equipment for hire.
n
Maintain a clean, organised and professional office, workshop and yard.
n
Assist with general office administration, including ordering stationery and office supplies and coordinating branch activities.
n
Undertake occasional deliveries to customer sites when required.
n
Follow company policies and maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
