About the work unit / facility:The Townsville Community Care and Aquired Brain Injury Unit (TCCU/AIB) provides specialist rehabilitaion and therapeutic programs for consumers with enduring mental illness. your opportunity:Join TCCU/AIB as a Rehabilitation Assistant, working within a multidiciplinary team to support consumers with enduring mental illness through speacialist rehabilitation and therapeutic programs. You will provide safe, recovery-focused support, assist consumers to implement individual recovery plans and encourage participation in daily living and community-based activities. Using your mental health knowledge and communication skills, you will contribute to care that promotes independence and
recovery.Requirements:Certificate
III in Mental Health Work (non-clinical) or equivalent is highly
desirable.Possession
of a Class C drivers licence.May be required to work in other areas of the Mental Health Service Group.This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.Pre-employment checks will be conducted.Please refer to the Role Description for further details.Apply now and be part of something
