Personal Injury Law Graduate/Junior Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced law graduate or junior lawyer to join our personal injury team in our Parramatta office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with demonstrated workers compensation experience to develop their career through meaningful client work, hands-on matter exposure and guidance from experienced practitioners.

About the role
n
You will work across a varied workers compensation practice, supporting clients through complex and often challenging circumstances while contributing to the efficient progression of matters.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Assist with and progressively manage workers compensation matters under appropriate supervision
n
Take client instructions and maintain clear, qualified and empathetic communication
n
Draft correspondence, legal documents, chronologies, briefs and file notes
n
Conduct legal research and analyse medical, employment and evidentiary material
n
Liaise with clients, insurers, medical professionals, counsel and other stakeholders
n
Assist with preparing matters for conferences, mediations and hearings
n
Manage deadlines,



maintain accurate files and support the timely progression of matters
n
About you
n
You are a law graduate with relevant practical experience or a junior lawyer admitted, or eligible for admission, in New South Wales
n
Demonstrated experience in workers compensation is essential
n
You have a genuine interest in personal injury law and achieving positive outcomes for clients
n
You bring strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
n
You communicate clearly and professionally and can build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
n
You are organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
n
You can work collaboratively and also within a team environment
n
