As an experienced Leading Hand Boilermaker at Brown Contracting Solutions, you will play a vital role in the construction, maintenance and repair of industrial infrastructure. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work for a well-established company in the Hunter Valley mining industry.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Interpreting drawings and specifications for fabrication, installation and repair tasks
n
Working on a vast range of CHPP & material handling projects
n
Assisting the team with the development of JSA's & work permits
n
Collaborating with the team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards
n
Structural integrity of site infrastructure
n
Installation of structural steel & components
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Formal qualifications in Boilermaking
n
Highly desirable - experience in coal handling preparation plants (CHPP) Projects, maintenance, structural Integrity, installation and modifications to structural steel & platework. Additional skills including MDG25, EWP, WAH & Rigging / Dogging tickets
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings
n
Highly motivated and enthusiastic - a must!
n




Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team
n
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
n
Effective communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
n
