We are looking for a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities and trade-offs of working in a multidisciplinary creative environment. If you love making games and making them with other amazing people, then we want to meet you.

This is a part-time, working 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday) and requires your presence in our office in Macquarie Park NSW.
n
Maternity leave cover role which will be offered as 12-month contract, commencing in September.
n
The Artist will work as part of a team of Artists & Sound Designers that drive the game asset creation & development of our products. The position is responsible for creating art concepts & graphical assets and to work both independently and collaboratively in delivering artwork for quality games.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Making games with a diverse team of Game Designers, Artists, Sound Designers and Engineers.
n
Creating graphic compositions, logos, symbol illustrations, menus, UIs and buttons.
n
Brainstorming and conceptualizing ideas (producing concept sketches and quick concept edits).
n
Working with Game Designers and Artists to implement the team's vision of the game.
n
Collaborating with art team regarding best practices and processes relating to game development.
n




Contributing to process improvements to increase productivity and the visual quality of the games.
n
Keeping abreast of new graphic techniques, trends, and styles in the industry.
n
Skills/Requirements
n
Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience.
n
2+ years of professional experience in a related field.
n
Skills with Photoshop and Illustrator.
n
Animation and Alienbrain experience is a plus.
n
Excellent knowledge of design basics (lighting, composition, perspective, texturing, colors, etc.).
n
Ability to create art and animation for all game aspects (screen layout, symbol sets, etc.) with minimal guidance.
n
Understand how to design art for various themes and platforms.
n
Strong work ethics and professionalism.
n
Ability to complete assigned tasks on time.
n
Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
n
Strong customer focused mind.
n
Follow guidelines and directions from the Art Director.
n
Also would be great if you could...

Have previous slot gaming industry experience.
n
Have traditional 2D animation experience.
n
Have experience using AI software.
n
Have experience using 3D software package.
n
Have excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
n




Can take and give constructive feedback.

Have previous gaming industry experience.
n
Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible in the ever-changing environment of a fast-growing company.
n
Be self-motivated and proactive to get job done.
