Our client, Black Lion Tyres Aus Pty Ltd, is seeking an experienced and capable Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing and procurement activities within the business. This full-time position is suited to a motivated professional with strong supplier management, negotiation and organisational skills who can ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials required for business operations. Job Responsibility

Manage and coordinate the overall procurement and purchasing activities of the business while ensuring efficient supply, cost control and effective supplier relationships.

Duties
n
n
Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company's operational and business objectives.
n
Source, assess and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain suitable products, services and commercial terms.
n
Manage end-to-end purchasing processes, including purchase orders, contracts, deliveries and supplier performance.
n
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely procurement to maintain adequate stock and avoid supply interruptions.
n
Review procurement costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenditure and improve purchasing efficiency.
n
Maintain effective and professional relationships with suppliers, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
n
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product quality and compliance with agreed terms.
n




Coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing requirements and ensure procurement activities align with operational needs.
n
Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier details, contracts, pricing and procurement transactions.
n
Prepare procurement reports and provide relevant purchasing and supplier information to management.
n
Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
n
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, inventory management and overall supply chain efficiency.

Qualification requirements:
n
n
Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce or a related field; OR
n
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
n
Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management.
n
Strong negotiation, analytical and organisational skills.
n
n

$75,000 - $120,000 per annum + Superannuation
