Mechanical Fitter – $67/hr + Paid Travel

Alliance Group are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team for site-based work in the Hunter Valley, with the site located between Singleton and Muswellbrook.
n
This role offers a great roster for someone looking for a strong hourly rate, consistent hours and a four-day working week.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Carry out mechanical fitting, maintenance and repair work on site
n
Assist with breakdowns, servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Work safely around mining and industrial equipment
n
Use hand and power tools in accordance with site requirements
n




Follow all site safety procedures and Alliance Group safety standards
n
Work effectively as part of a site-based maintenance team
n
Maintain a clean and safe work area
n
Other duties as required
n

Requirements:
n
n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
n
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
n
Reliable, motivated and able to follow site procedures
n
n
Highly Desirable:
n
n
2+ years mining/heavy industry experience
n
Working at Heights
n
Confined Space
n
Additional High Risk Work Licences will be highly regarded
n
n
