What You Will Do
n
As Senior Licensing Officer, you will assess liquor applications under Victorian laws and policies.
n
You will make decisions, provide advice and guide licensing officers through complex work.
n
You Will
n
assess applications for risk and complexity and determine suitable licensing outcomes
n
process, assess and escape applications under the Liquor Control Reform Act **** and other laws
n
prepare clear correspondence, briefs and statements of reasons for applicants and industry participants
n
respond to enquiries, investigate issues and provide sound advice on licensing matters
n
monitor performance, improve processes and provide practical guidance to licensing officers.

You Should Also Have
n
strong legislative skills, with the ability to interpret and apply liquor laws
n
regulatory knowledge, with an understanding of Victoria's liquor industry framework
n
sound judgement and problem-solving skills for complex licensing matters
n
clear communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
