This is more than just another FIFO role. It's an opportunity to join one of Australia's leading drilling services contractors as a Drill Fitter, working on our Sandvik DPI top hammer drill rigs alongside a highly skilled maintenance team and contributing to the reliability and performance of critical production equipment.

You will be hands on, accountable and trusted to deliver work that keeps our operations running safely and efficiently.

What you'll be responsible for:
n
n
Carrying out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance across the drill fleet
n
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
n
Responding to breakdowns and delivering timely repairs to minimise downtime
n
Maintaining the highest standard of safety, compliance and workmanship
n
Collaborating with drillers, supervisors and fellow tradespeople to maximise fleet reliability and availability
n
Accurately completing maintenance documentation and work orders in line with compliance standards
n

What you bring:
n
n
Australian recognised Heavy Duty (HD) Trade Certificate
n
Hold a current and valid Australian Drivers Licence
n
Proven experience as a Drill Fitter or HD Fitter working on drill rigs within an open pit mining environment
n
Strong hands on experience with Sandvik DPI top hammer drilling equipment
n
Sound fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving skills across hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
n
A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and accountability
n
The ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality workmanship in remote mining environments
n
Ability to meet all site requirements (including, but not limited to Medical, DAS, NPC, valid work rights)
n
