About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to apply advanced clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.

About you
n
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
n
Provide teaching to both consumers/patients and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
n
Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning
activities/opportunities
for self and others.
n
Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality improvement and best practice principles to optimise consumer/patient centred care and organisational outcomes by undertaking projects and research as required.
