This is an outstanding opportunity for doctors pursuing a career in Psychiatry to gain valuable clinical experience within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with exposure to a diverse range of mental health presentations across secure, forensic and rehabilitation settings.

The Opportunity Working under the supervision of experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, you will provide high-quality assessment and management of patients with complex mental health conditions while developing your clinical skills in a structured teaching setting.

Your role will include:
n

Assessment and management of adult mental health patients
n
Working within multidisciplinary teams across inpatient services
n
Participation in ward rounds, case conferences and treatment planning
n
Developing skills in forensic, rehabilitation and secure psychiatry
n
Participation in education, quality improvement and clinical governance activities
n

Requirements To be considered you should have:

Current AHPRA registration (Limited, Provisional or General Registration preferred)
n
Previous Australian clinical experience is highly desirable
n
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Psychiatry
