The Role
n
As Staff Specialist Urologist, you will provide both clinical and non-clinical leadership within the Department of Urology and associated outpatient services.
n
Key Responsibilities Include
n
n
Delivering high-quality urological care across inpatient and outpatient settings
n
Providing supervision, mentoring, and support to junior medical and clinical staff
n
Working collaboratively with the Emergency Department, other specialties, and primary care
n
Contributing to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
n
Engaging with clinicians across the Local Health District to ensure integrated patient care
n
n
This role offers scope to shape services, influence training, and build a strong subspecialty footprint.
n
Requirements
n
Applicants must meet one of the following:
n
n
FRACS (Urology)
n
RACS Advanced Trainee within 6 months of Fellowship
n
RACS-assessed Substantially Comparable or eligible for assessment (interview dates booked)
n
NZ-trained Urologists seeking work in Australia
n
UK CCT Urologists
n
