Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice to join one of our host employers in Richlands, QLD.
n
You'll work alongside experienced automotive professionals while completing an AUR***** Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, developing practical skills across vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs.

What You'll Learn
n
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop practical skills and experience including:
n
n
Servicing and maintaining light vehicles.
n
Inspecting vehicle components and identifying faults.
n
Diagnosing and repairing brake, steering and suspension systems.
n




Carrying out tyre inspections, repairs, rotations and replacements.
n
Performing wheel balancing and assisting with wheel alignments.
n
Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
n
Removing and replacing mechanical components.
n
Completing vehicle safety inspections.
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures.
n
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment.
n

About You
n
