The Company

Based in Laverton North, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed electrical control power distribution equipment that supplies the defence, medical and mining sectors. Working a 9-day fortnight and monthly BBQ's or lunch provided. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Control panel construction
n
Assembling of products according to design
n
Assembling and testing of switchgear and panel boards
n




Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
n
n
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
n
n
Electrical trade qualification
n
Strong understanding of wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
n
Assembling and testing of electrical products
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
n
Ability to work unsupervised
n
Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
n
Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment
n
n
Hours & rates:
n
Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.55pm, 9-day fortnight
n
Rate: $47-$49 per hour + overtime + super + discretionary annual bonus
n
