The Role
n
Joining a large and collaborative payroll function, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and compliant processing of payroll across a diverse workforce. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to maintaining high payroll service standards throughout the organisation.

End-to-end processing of payroll for a large, multi-site employee population.
n
Managing employee onboarding, terminations, and payroll-related changes.
n
Interpreting and applying modern awards and enterprise agreements across various employee groups.
n
Processing payroll adjustments, leave entitlements, and reconciliations.
n
Investigating and resolving payroll queries and discrepancies.
n
Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records in line with compliance requirements.
n
Assisting with payroll reporting, audits, and statutory obligations.
n
Contributing to payroll system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Operations.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n




A minimum of 3 years' end-to-end payroll experience within a high-volume environment.
n
Previous experience working in a multi-site organisation (highly regarded).
n
Strong understanding and practical experience interpreting Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements.
n
Experience using complex payroll systems and navigating large payroll environments.
n
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
n
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
n
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
n
A proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to customer service.
n
