Truck Art Smash Repairs, located across Australia in 5 states, Manufacturer of custom Stock Crates and Livestock Trailers is currently seeking to employ a qualified and experienced Painter to commence at their site in Wagga Wagga NSW. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
n
n
Surface preparation of steel for painting, safely using chemicals and a range of hand tools
n
Clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare fabricated steel items for application of paint and or other protective coatings.
n
Operate various equipment, such as blast pots and spray guns
n
Knowledge of various painting methods and applications
n
Sandblasting, abrasive and chemical techniques, masking and etching of applications.
n
Ability to read and interpret blueprint,



sketches and drawings
n
Protected operation of tools and equipment
n
Grinding, sanding and polishing of steel
n
Understanding of painting, caulking and sealing and putting them in to practice
n
Ability to apply all types of coatings using various application methods
n
n
Skills & Abilities:
n
n
Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or relevant
n
Ideally have 3 years' experience within relevant or similar field
n
Ability to work in a team environment
n
n
Salary range is $80,000-$95,000pa commensurate with experience. Fulltime Position available. Application opens on 10th of August **** and closes on 10th of September ****.
