OSHC Coordinator – Beyond School Care (Apex Care Services)

As the OSHC Coordinator, you will lead the team and oversee the delivery of high-quality care in a secure, inclusive and engaging environment. You will support daily operations, guide staff practice, build positive relationships with families, and help ensure the service meets relevant care, safety and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

Lead, mentor and support the team to deliver safe, inclusive and engaging care.
n
Supervise children and foster an inclusive environment through age-appropriate activities.
n
Plan and implement engaging educational, recreational and life-skill activities.
n
Support staff with daily routines and responsibilities.
n
Build positive relationships with children, families and team members.
n
Ensure the service operates in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
n
Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
n
Support compliance with health, safety and child protection requirements.
n
Assist with staff rostering and daily operational requirements.
n
Respond professionally to parents/carers and address any concerns.
n

About you
n
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as per ACECQA guidelines.
n
Previous experience working in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), childcare,



disability support, or a similar environment.
n
Strong communication and leadership skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
n
A positive, professional and reliable attitude.
n
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
n
Ability to get NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card.
n
Current Police Check.
n
Current Education and Care First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
n
Understanding of childcare legislation, child-safe standards, and relevant education and care requirements.
n

Apex Care Services is seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated OSHC Coordinator to join our Beyond School Care team. This role supports the delivery of high-quality Outside School Hours Care for children with disabilities in a safe, inclusive and engaging environment. The program has a current enrolment of up to 20 children and ratios with 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3.
