Karl of Switzerland is seeking experienced Senior Hair Stylists to join our dynamic team in Cheltenham, VIC. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise, creativity and passion for hair styling in a professional salon environment. As a Senior Hair Stylist, you will be at the forefront of our client experience, delivering exceptional results whilst mentoring junior team members and contributing to the salon's reputation for excellence.

What you'll be doing
n
Provide high-quality hair styling services including cuts, colour, treatments and styling for a diverse clientele
n
Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences and expectations, offering professional recommendations
n
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and salon protocols at all times
n
Mentor and support junior stylists, sharing knowledge and best practices to develop their skills
n
Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings
n
Stay current with industry trends, techniques and products to offer clients the latest in hair care services
n
Manage your own appointment schedule efficiently to maximise productivity
n
Contribute to a positive, collaborative salon atmosphere and support team objectives
n
Maintain accurate records of client preferences and service history
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 5+ years' professional experience as a qualified hair stylist
n
Current relevant hair styling qualifications or equivalent industry certification
n
Demonstrated expertise in a range of hair styling techniques including cutting, colouring and treatments
n




Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
n
Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and satisfaction
n
Leadership capabilities and willingness to mentor junior team members
n
Knowledge of current hair trends, products and industry best practices
n
Excellent time management and organisational skills
n
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced salon environment
n
Professional appearance and commitment to personal presentation standards
n
Preferred: Experience with salon management systems and booking platforms
