The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.

The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

Are you a highly organised maintenance planning professional with a passion for equipment reliability and operational excellence? Thiess is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Planner to join our high-performing team at the Eva Copper Mine Project.
n
As a key member of the Eva Copper team, you'll be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities across our mobile equipment fleet, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective maintenance execution to maximise equipment availability and reliability.

As the Maintenance Planner, you will:
n
n
Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance plans for mobile plant and equipment in line with OEM recommendations and site maintenance strategies.
n
Coordinate maintenance schedules, breakdown repairs, labour, parts, tools and resources to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to production.
n
Monitor equipment reliability, maintenance performance and planning effectiveness while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site operations
n

About you
n
n
Mechanical Trade Qualification (Diesel Fitter or similar) or relevant Engineering qualification.
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning role within mining, resources or heavy industry.
n
Strong knowledge of mobile plant maintenance practices and OEM maintenance requirements.
n
Experience using maintenance planning, scheduling and asset management systems.
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
n
Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance and environmental standards.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across Maintenance, Mining and Processing teams.
n
Experience supporting reliability improvement initiatives, condition monitoring programs and maintenance strategy development.
