Our client is a leading distributor of gaming, toys and pop culture merchandise, based in Riverwood, and is currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Receiving Team Member to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and getting the job done efficiently.

The Role
n
As a Warehouse Receiving Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming stock is received, checked and processed accurately.
n
n
Receive and safely unload deliveries from freight carriers
n
Check incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery documentation
n
Identify and report shortages, damages and incorrect deliveries
n
Process received stock using warehouse management systems
n
Use handheld scanners and computer systems to record stock movements
n
Prioritise incoming deliveries according to operational requirements
n
Split, label and prepare stock for put-away
n




Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
n
Safely use warehouse equipment including trolleys and pallet jacks
n
Operate wave pickers where trained and authorised
n
Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team
n
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
n

About You
n
To be successful, you will ideally have:
n
n
At least 12 months' warehouse experience
n
A current Police Check
n
Experience using computers, warehouse systems and handheld scanners
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
A methodical and organised approach
n
The ability to follow processes and procedures
n
Valuable physical fitness and the ability to work in a warehouse environment
n
The ability to speak and read English
n
A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
n
A willingness to assist across the warehouse when required
n
Will be required to Undergo and pre-employment medical
n
