Job Description
As a qualified Electrician you will be responsible for the delivery of planned generator installation works, alternator repairs, and reactive maintenance & repairs of diesel & gas generators.

About The Role
n
Working with a dedicated team of multi-disciplined technicians, you will be based out of our Smeaton Grange branch & also working independently on our customers sites.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Working on generator sets and generator control panels
n
Troubleshooting and diagnostics on generators up to 3,500KVA
n
Modifying wiring looms/diagrams
n
Commissioning of new generator systems, transfer switches & fuel systems
n
Working closely with the Mechanical Service team
n
Completing all work with a high focus on safety & reliability
n
Occasional travel
n
n

About You
n
n
Relevant electrical trades qualification
n
An understanding of control systems (including PLC and relay logic)
n
The ability to interpret electrical schematics
n
Construction industry White Card
n
Excellent team work and customer service skills
n
Current driver's license
n
Forklift license preferred
n
Previous experience in the Power Generation field would be highly regarded
n
Must be an Australian citizen & have full work rights in Australia
