Job Description
Our Manildra Mill, in Central West NSW is the largest flour mill in Australia. This mill grinds wheats to produce a full range of flours, from low-protein biscuit flours and protein-enriched flours through to household and baker's flours and specialty flours tailored to the needs of our customers, both domestically and in many export markets.

A vacancy exists within our Laboratory team at Manildra NSW, this position involves shift work on a rotating roster.

THE JOB:
n
As a Laboratory Technician you will be required to perform the following duties.
n
n
Testing, recording and reporting of samples taken through the manufacturing and packing process.
n
Generating Certificate of Analysis
n
Communicating with key stakeholders on products
n




Ability to work independently and/or part of a team.
n
n
THE PERSON:
n
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following.
n
n
Knowledge of WHS and HACCP practices
n
Willing to obtain Certificate III Laboratory Skills
n
Exercise sound judgement
n
Ability to plan ahead and be able to deal effectively with enquires from all areas
n
Ability to work shift work, generally working 8 hour shifts however from time to time you may be asked to work 12 hours on shift relief
n
Previous experience in a laboratory will be highly regarded
