ARG Workforce is seeking applications for vacant steel processing roles available for an immediate start at our Clients Cairns facility.
n
You would be processing various steel products for the construction, concrete and industrial sectors.
n
n
Learn to operate off-coil machines, shearline and manual benders to cut and shape reinforcing bars
n
Input job tags on machines to produce steel products
n
Operate an overhead crane and forklift(licenced)
n
Accurately pick and pack orders
n
Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers
n
Promote and contribute to a safe workplace
n

This will be a long term casual position to begin with, and has the potential to transition to a permanent role. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL WITH DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST

This will be a Monday to Friday position. Minimum 38 hours per week. with competitive pay rates and reasonable OT available.
