We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Australian marketing business that specialises in local area advertising for small to medium-sized businesses.
n
This role has previously been managed by an offshore team and is now being brought back to Australia. We are seeking a locally based designer who understands the Australian SME market and can work closely with the internal team.
n
This is a permanent part-time position (9:00am-3:00pm), with flexibility to work beyond 3:00pm when required. The role can be fully work-from-home or office-based.

About the Role
n
This is not brand campaign design.
n
You will be creating clear, simple, results-driven print and digital advertising for local service businesses such as plumbers, electricians, gyms, schools and trades — with a focus on generating enquiries through strong calls to action and effective layouts.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

Designing advertising for SME local area marketing campaigns
n
Creating clean, high-impact layouts with strong typography
n
Using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
n
Developing 2D animation using Adobe After Effects
n
Applying video editing skills for promotional content
n




Maintaining consistent branding and messaging
n
Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
n
Liaising with internal team members to understand briefs
n
n
About You
n
n
2-3 years' professional graphic design experience
n
Relevant qualification in Graphic Design (or similar)
n
Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple mediums
n
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
n
Experience with Adobe After Effects and 2D animation
n
Video editing capability
n
Experience designing for SME or local area marketing environments
n
Ability to work across multiple industries (not just one brand)
n
Strong attention to detail and layout skills
n
Able to work independently in a fast-paced workplace
n
n
Experience with 3D animation is advantageous but not essential.
