About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Dietitian to join the Nutrition & Dietetics Department at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in a part-time Weekend Dietitian position. Working every second weekend , you will provide Dietetics services across critical care and acute care wards, working independently to ensure patients with priority nutrition needs receive timely, high-quality care. The weekend roster consists of an 8-hour Saturday shift and an on-call requirement on Sunday . This role would suit an experienced clinical Dietitian who is confident working autonomously, has robust clinical decision-making skills and enjoys working across a varied acute caseload. Previous experience working within intensive care and surgical settings will be highly regarded.

Salary: Dietitian Grade 2 AJ1 - AJ4 ($94,****** - $106,****** per annum, pro rata for part time).

You will bring:

Qualifications providing eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program
n
A minimum of four years' postgraduate experience in a relevant area of clinical dietetics
n
Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to work confidently and independently within an acute hospital environment
n
Highly developed organisational, time management and planning skills
n
Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
n
A commitment to providing evidence-based, person-centred care
n
A commitment to the values and healthcare philosophy of St Vincent's Health Australia
n
A current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain one
n
