We are an award-winning Australian online FX & CFD trading platform. Since ****, ETO Group has been fully regulated by ASIC. As our business continues to grow rapidly, we are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team.

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to grow with us from the ground up. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure across a broad range of accounting and finance functions, including daily reconciliations, financial data analysis, client money accounting, regulatory reporting support, and system-based financial controls.

Responsibilities:
n
Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
n
Maintain the general ledger, journals, accruals, and prepayments
n
Perform bank and payment provider reconciliations (local and offshore accounts)
n
Support year-end financial statements and external audits
n
Maintain and reconcile client money trust accounts in accordance with ASIC Client Money Reporting Rules
n
Monitor daily segregation of client funds vs company funds
n




Prepare daily and monthly client money reconciliations and regulatory reports
n
Liaise with compliance and operations teams to resolve reconciliation discrepancies
n
Review settlement data for accuracy
n
Process daily funds Report and reconciliation
n
Clients commission/rebate calculation and checking
n
Responsible for customer withdrawals and payment channels
n
Cross check deposit and withdraw processing to ensure accounts are set up correctly and in line with internal procedures
n
Generate Analysis reports to support business goals
n
Skills and requirements:
n
3+ years accounting or settlement related experience
n
Experience working under ASIC framework highly regarded
n
Great attention to detail
n
Positive with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
n
Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
n
Experience in MS Office would be a plus
n
Good in English
