We're seeking an experienced ICT Disaster Recovery & Cyber Resilience Specialist to join a major Federal Government technology environment undergoing a significant multi-year uplift of its disaster recovery and resilience capability.
n
This is a senior opportunity for a cyber security, disaster recovery or technology resilience professional who wants to move beyond day-to-day operations and influence enterprise DR strategy, governance, assurance and recovery capability.
n
You'll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure critical technology services can be recovered effectively following disruption or cyber events.

The Opportunity
n
You'll take a leading role in strengthening enterprise ICT Disaster Recovery capability, with responsibilities including:
n
n
Design and uplift enterprise ICT Disaster Recovery and cyber resilience capabilities.
n
Develop DR strategies, policies, standards, governance frameworks and operating models.
n
Develop and oversee technical recovery runbooks, testing programs and recovery exercises.
n
Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), system criticality assessments and recovery prioritisation.
n
Define and assess Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
n
Conduct tabletop exercises, recovery testing and post-incident reviews.
n
Integrate disaster recovery requirements across architecture, cyber security, projects and operational environments.
n
Assess resilience risks, capability gaps and remediation activities.
n
Provide specialist advice to senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members.

What We're Looking For
n
You'll ideally bring:
n
n
5+ years' experience across ICT Disaster Recovery, technology resilience, cyber security or related disciplines.
n
Previous experience within Australian Government environments.
n
Demonstrated experience developing DR strategies, policies, standards and governance frameworks.
n
Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, architecture, system dependencies and resiliency patterns.
n
Experience across Azure, AWS and/or SaaS environments.
n
Strong understanding of cyber security and the impact of cyber threats on recovery strategies.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, written communication and advisory skills.
n
The ability to operate independently and provide senior-level technical and risk advice.
n

Highly Regarded
n
Experience with:
n
n
PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight, NIST ******, ISO ***** and ISO *****.
n
Disaster recovery planning, testing, assurance and recovery exercises.
n
Business Impact Analysis and criticality assessments.
n
Cyber incident response, crisis management and enterprise risk.
n
Cloud-based continuity and recovery solutions.
n
