DAY SHIFT STOREPERSON - FULL TIME | SILVERDALE

Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier based in Silverdale, NSW, and we're looking for a reliable and motivated Storeperson to join our day shift team.
n
This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable hours, hands-on work and the opportunity to learn and develop within the steel industry.
n
Hours & Pay
n
n
Monday to Friday
n
6:00am - 2pm
n
Hourly rate based on experience
n
12% morning shift loading on top of your base rate
n
Overtime opportunities may be available
n
n
The Role
n
Your day-to-day duties will include:
n
n
Reading order paperwork and locating products throughout the warehouse and yard
n
Picking steel products using an overhead crane
n
Strapping and preparing material for dispatch
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
Stock control and general warehouse duties
n
Maintaining a clean and safe work area
n
Working as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time
n
n




Experience We're Looking For
n
Previous warehouse or steel experience is an advantage, however training can be provided for the right person.
n
The following would be highly regarded:
n
n
Previous warehousing, stores or yard experience
n
Experience loading and unloading trucks
n
Steel industry experience
n
Overhead crane experience
n
Forklift licence
n
HR licence
n
n
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, physically capable and willing to learn. You'll need to be comfortable working in a busy warehouse and yard environment and enjoy practical, hands-on work.

Essential
n
You must have reliable transport to and from our Silverdale NSW **** site, Monday to Friday.
